ViiSolutions developed the Onde Estou? app with a primary focus on users’ privacy, security, and accessibility. This policy describes how information is handled by the app.

1. Location data and purpose

The app requests access to Precise and Approximate Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) for a single assistive-technology purpose: to identify the current street name, number, and neighborhood and announce them out loud to help with orientation for people who are blind, have low vision, or are traveling on foot.

  • Local and ephemeral processing: geographic coordinates are processed strictly in the device’s temporary memory by the operating system’s native service (Android Geocoder).
  • No tracking: the app does not store travel history, does not create user profiles, and does not transmit your coordinates to any external ViiSolutions server.

2. Sharing and third parties

  • The app does not sell, share, or transfer location data or personal information to third parties.
  • The app contains no ads and no advertising-tracking libraries or invasive telemetry.

3. Feedback form (voluntary)

In the Feedback tab, the user may choose to send suggestions for improvement. Information sent is limited to questionnaire answers, technical device diagnostics (model, Android version, and font scale), and an optional contact email. No location data is attached to the form.

4. Security

All external connections (such as sending voluntary feedback and accessing the company website) use secure HTTPS (TLS) encryption.
